It is important to know that your UMWA Funds Health Benefits will not change. The Funds’ health plans provide comprehensive coverage and you do not have to pay a premium for your Funds benefits. Therefore, there is no need for you to enroll in a plan offered by the Marketplace.

Are you eligible for Medicare? The Funds requires that you enroll in Medicare Part B, and keep your Part B, to qualify for or to maintain your Funds’ Health Services Card. Remember to sign up for Part B when you first become eligible, and notify the Funds Call Center at (800)291-1425 when your Medicare benefits start.
