Hearing Aid Network

The Funds has a nationwide network of Hearing Aid providers. The goal of the Network is to enhance quality of hearing instruments and services available to Funds beneficiaries and to improve the cost-effectiveness of hearing instruments and services. Under the program, all aids must be dispensed by a Funds’ approved hearing aid provider, who must employ a full-time licensed audiologist on staff to dispense and fit a hearing aid.

The Funds has almost 30 agreements with hearing aid vendors. This agreement establishes the terms under which a participating vendor provides hearing aids and services to beneficiaries and the terms of reimbursement that the vendor accepts. Beneficiaries are required to use participating vendors for hearing aids and related services.
